(Age 6+) Very good for practicing patience. The process of making it is rather easy, however takes time and concentration. You can encourage children to predict how each next step should be done, or alternatively show them a finished product and ask them to guess what steps are needed.
MATERIAL NEEDED:
black cardboard, thread, scissors, a pencil, sticky tape and string
HOW TO DO IT:

Draw a bat, cut it out and use it to trace two more bats

Cut a piece of thread and stick it on the bat. Repeat the same with the other two bats. The length of thread should be the same for all three bats.

Trace and cut out a black circle.

Pierce a hole in the middle of the circle.

Pull a piece of string through the hole and tie a knot, so it doesn`t fall off

Stick the other piece of thread onto the black circle, so the bats are hanging
